Lucasfilm certainly knows how to throw an awesome party. John Boyega has just shared a glimpse at how the Star Wars: Episode IX wrap party went down and it certainly looked like loads of fun.
Boyega posted several videos on his Instagram story revealing what happened at the Episode IX wrap party. The night started out with DJs dressed as Resistance pilots playing remixed versions of the Star Wars theme as well as the Imperial March. There were people on roller skates gliding across the dance floor as well.
As the night continued, Boyega was reunited with Joonas Suotamo. The Chewbacca actor admitted that he actually sent his baby home early so he could enjoy the night with his Episode IX co-stars.

It is unclear where the party took place but there is little doubt that Lucasfilm and Disney splurged on the event. At one point, Boyega is shown dancing and singing along with remixes of the Wheatus hit Teenage Dirtbag and Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles. Go to Boyega's Instagram stories here. J.J. Abrams had announced the Episode IX wrap through an emotional photo featuring Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Oscar Isaac hugging on the set. The Attack the Block star had reshared the image and added his own heartwarming caption thanking the Star Wars: The Force Awakens director for giving him a chance to make his dreams come true.
The wrap photo has also led to several speculations about what will happen in Episode IX. Fans believe that the background confirms that Rey, Finn, and Poe Dameron will head back to Jakku in the film. However, others argue that it could mean that the final movie in the Skywalker Saga will go back to where it all started: We could be looking at Luke Skywalker's home planet of Tatooine.
Star Wars: Episode IX hits theaters on December 20.
