Everyone is rejoicing as Jon Bernthal confirms that he would, once again, suit up as Punisher and this time, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as he posted online an image of him in action. Former Netflix co-star Krysten Ritter who played Jessica Jones joins the celebration, too.
Recently, Jon Bernthal posted on Instagram an image of him as The Punisher while in action and this seemingly confirms that he is returning as Frank Castle in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, following the footsteps of former Netflix co-star Charlie Cox who is back as Daredevil.
The return of Bernthal as Punisher comes in with the celebration of the hundreds of thousands of fans awaiting his reprisal of the role and it is expected that he would be appearing on Daredevil: Born Again and among those celebrating is Krysten Ritter who played Jessica Jones commenting a fire emoji.
While everyone is in a festive mood following this news, the possibility of Krysten Ritter returning as Jessica Jones in the same series remains in murky waters as nothing has been confirmed whether the actress would be reprising the role in the MCU.

Despite the uncertainties, Krysten Ritter already expressed her interest to play the character once more on multiple occasions through posting images of her playing Jessica Jones on Instagram. If given an opportunity, Ritter is ready to suit up anytime.
Daredevil: Born Again is about to start its filming which makes this time a perfect opportunity to confirm the return of Jon Bernthal as Punisher and if the fans are to be heard, Krysten Ritter's reprisal of the role could be next.
Charlie Cox will be returning as The Man Without Fear in Daredevil: Born Again where he is expected to take on a familiar villain with Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin, now under the MCU. If Bernthal's Punisher and Ritter's Jones would be back, the series might be the perfect opportunity.
Daredevil: Born Again has no exact release date yet but it is scheduled for a 2024 window.
