Jessica Chastain Wraps Her Work on IT: Chapter 2

Jessica Chastain has been cast as the adult Bev in the IT sequel, and after announcing her first day back in June, she has finally finished shooting.

Chastain had posted about wrapping her part on Instagram, but the post was possibly deleted. Lucky for us, Celebrity Snaps on Youtube was able to snag the video and re-upload it. It simply has a video of Chastain with the caption ‘GOODBYE DEAR FRIENDS' and has a picture of Tim Curry's Pennywise popping up.

With Chastain already done with her part, it's only a matter of time before we get to see James McAvoy or Bill Hader announcing their wrap on the film as well. The rest of the adult cast include Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ranson, and Andy Bean.

The IT reboot was a huge success when it came out, and it's largely because of the terrific child actors that were hired for the film. We don't know how the sequel will fare with new actors onboard, but hopefully director Andy Muschietti has something interesting planned for the second half of the story.

Hopefully this doesn't mean a third movie with the protagonists' kids now the victim of Pennywise.

IT: Chapter 2 is slated for a release on Sept. 6, 2019.
