Jedi Padawan Shaggy is the Top Trending Article in Wookieepedia

Just recently the internet was met with a wave of Shaggy memes, and Gendy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars series suddenly got some attention for a young padawan called Sha'a Gi. As it turns out, a lot of people have been suddenly reading up on the character, and Sha'a Gi has ended up as one of the top trending pages on Wookieepedia.

This was shared by the Wookieepedia account which shows that Sha'a Gi was on the top list of most searched characters.

Back in 2005, the original Clone Wars had a scene where they were going to introduce Grievous and show us just how dangerous he could be on the battlefield. Sha'a Gi was one of the trapped Jedi in the group, and being the coward that he was, he ran straight into danger and was the first to be offed by Grievous.

We don't really have that much info on Sha'a Gi in canon, but we do know that he was a direct reference to the character from Scooby Doo. It was even said that they decided to give him the same voice, but the character just ended up feeling a lot sillier.

Sad to say, Shaggy memes have started to die down already. You still have a few popping up from time to time, but it's far from when Shaggy was just ending up everywhere. Who knows, maybe Lucasfilm will continue to build up on the character in the future. How about a cameo in the upcoming Star Wars: Fallen Order game?
