James McAvoy Returns As Sexy Mr. Tumnus In Chronicles Of Narnia SNL Sketch

It has been more than a decade since James McAvoy appeared as Mr. Tumnus in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Some of us probably even fell in love with McAvoy as the sweet faun who befriended Lucy Pevensie. Luckily, fans are in for a treat as the Glass star reprised his role as the faun in a hilarious Saturday Night Live sketch.

McAvoy hosted the recent episode of SNL where he showed up in a kilt. However, the best sketch of the evening is undoubtedly his awesome reprisal of his role in Narnia complete with fake goat legs and a shaggy wig. The sketch featured three women who aren't afraid to admit their feelings for Mr. Tumnus. The faun knows he's hot, but also had a disappointing revelation for the ladies. Check it out below.

There are so many awesome lines in the sketch but Kate McKinnon's Rebeccas (yes, with the S) had the funniest one for Mr. Tumnus. "I wanna put my thumbnus in your bumnus," she said. "Mama wants a boyfriend she can pet."

McAvoy broke down his character's appeal quite perfectly. "Let me guess, it was my non-threatening masculinity. I'm sort of jacked, but in a little bit of a British way, you know? To you, I am the perfect combination of man, animal, scarf, and flute music. I'm like Frodo but without the baggage and drama."

Unfortunately, it's not meant to be. Mr. Tumnus reveals that he is currently in a relationship with Edmund Pevensie, a twist nobody saw coming.

McAvoy will return as Charles Xavier in X-Men: Dark Phoenix, which hits theaters on June 7.
