The Suicide Squad could be one of DC's most entertaining superhero movies, thanks to the hiring of Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn. We're all looking forward to this soft reboot of the franchise after critics hated Suicide Squad, even though it made a ton of money and still has its fair share of defenders. Margot Robbie is one of the actors returning from the previous movie and it looks like Gunn is quite fond of her.

On his Instagram, Gunn was asked about working with Margot Robbie and he said she was one of the best actors the director has ever worked with. That's high praise for any individual and we're sure that Robbie appreciates the compliment. Because of this, we're more than excited to see how she does in the sequel.
Suicide Squad, the one that David Ayer directed, actually had a fairly talented cast, with Robbie joined by the likes of Will Smith, Jared Leto, and Viola Davis. The Suicide Squad is going to be another big ensemble and we can only hope it's a better movie, which seems to be the case since Gunn probably has some clout that Ayer didn't have.
Also, Ayer recently hinted that he was forced to make a number of decisions he didn't want to do in the original movie so that's a shame. Hopefully, Gunn has a more fun time with his version of the DC film.
The Suicide Squad will be coming out on August 6, 2021.
