It looks like the cast of The Suicide Squad is a truly tight-knit bunch. James Gunn has just shared some new photos of Margot Robbie with the rest of the DC film's stars getting together to celebrate Jennifer Holland's birthday.
Gunn posted the pictures on his official Instagram account. The photos were taken during Holland's birthday party at Suicide Squad co-star David Dastmalchian's home. Make sure to swipe through to see all the images in the post.
"What better way to celebrate @jenniferlholland's birthday than playing a little #codenames and #mafia with #TheSuicideSquad and friends at Dastmalchian manor?" Gunn wrote.
It's awesome to see that Robbie also enjoys hanging out with the cast since she rarely shows up in Gunn's social media posts. We're loving the idea that the Harley Quinn actress still finds time to hang out with her co-stars especially on special occasions.
The images also feature Dastmalchian's wife Evelyn Leigh as well as Suicide Squad actors Daniela Melchior, Steve Agee, and Flula Borg. Sadly, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star Pom Klementieff isn't in the photos although she usually hangs out with the cast.
The Suicide Squad is currently in production but the premise (and final list of characters) has been kept secret. Hopefully, we'll get to learn more about the film before the end of the year.
The Suicide Squad is scheduled for release on August 6, 2021. Gunn is expected to begin work on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as soon as he finished working on the DC film.
