It All Comes to an End in New Trailer for A Series of Unfortunate Events 3

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events may not have succeeded as a film, but it did find new life in a form of a television series on Netflix. The show is set to end officially next year, and we have the first full trailer for the beginning of the end.

Despite imploring with you that you look away, you are still here two seasons later, viewing A Series of Unfortunate Events. So with the third and final season drawing near, we have nothing left to say, dear viewer, but that we have saved the worst for last.

It looks like everything is finally coming to full circle with the kids, and it's possible that the show will finally explore Olaf and his history with the VFD. We know that the children's parents are also VFD members, but so far, we still know very little about the organization other than they're committed to ‘putting out fires.'

Interestingly enough, we'll also see the return of several of the Baudelaire guardians in the show. Besides Monty and Jerome Squalor, the Baudelaires have always been paired with the most terrible adults—not to mention the infuriatingly incompetent Mr. Poe.

With the final season, we'll be exploring the last four books—The Slippery Slope, The Grim Grotto, The Penultimate Peril, and The End. Each book will be covered in the span of two episodes save for the last book which will be a single one.

Catch Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events 3 when it hits Netflix Jan. 1, 2019.
