New Images Released for Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events 3

Netflix's live-action adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events has been a hit since it premiered back in 2017, and now the series is set to end with the third season next year. Just in, we have new images of the Baudelaire children and Count Olaf—plus confirmation that Allison Williams is playing Kit Snicket.

So far, each book in the series has been adapted into two episodes for the show. With the last episode of Season 2 being based on The Carnivorous Carnival, we should expect the final episodes of the season to be based on The Slippery Slope, The Grim Grotto, The Penultimate Peril, and The End.

It's worth noting that season 3 of Unfortunate Events only has seven episodes listed down, so I'm expecting that the finale is just going to an extended and will be the sole episode of The End.

Though I was more of a fan of the Jim Carrey movie from 2004, a lot of fans admit that the series is the one more faithful to the books. In hindsight, the books were already kind of kooky when it came to their adventures. I liked how the film had decided to keep everything a bit more grounded in reality. Not to mention Carrey was just a magnificent Olaf.

Personally, I'm hoping that the series manages to get Carrey to guest star as one of the Baudelaire guardians. If he can't commit, I'll settle for just a small cameo.

Catch the final season of A Series of Unfortunate Events on Netflix next year.
