Netflix's successful reality dating show, Love Is Blind Season 4, just wrapped up its season with the much-awaited Reunion special. The next to follow its footstep is another reality dating show on Netflix called Perfect Match.
The show combines the different candidates from various reality series on the platform and gives them another shot at finding their partner. After a successful first season in February, many can't help but wait for a Perfect Match Season 2 announcement.
Here's what we know so far.
Will There Be a Perfect Match Season 2?
After a few months of waiting for an update, the streaming giant has finally announced one: the show has received the green light for a second season.
The announcement was made last Tuesday, April 18, 2023, via the official The Circle Instagram account.
The second season will be hosted by Nick Lachey, who also hosted the first season. But there is an ongoing petition to remove Nick and Vanessa Lachey as hosts in future Love Is Blind seasons over their questionable hosting choices.
Netflix has not yet made any decision regarding this request made by avid fans.
When Will Perfect Match Season 2 Be Released on Netflix?
Right now, there's no word yet on when Perfect Match Season 2 will be released on Netflix since they are still casting for the show.
There's a pretty good chance that the show could get released in early 2024, which would likely fall right around Valentine's Day.
Who Are the Potential Candidates to Join Perfect Match Season 2?
Aside from announcing that there will be a second season, Netflix also revealed that they are currently casting for candidates to join the show.
Unfortunately for ordinary people (like you and me), there's zero possibility that we can get cast to join the show and find our potential partners.
The only way to do that is to get cast in one of the other reality TV shows on Netflix, stand out as a cast member, and hope that you can join in a future Perfect Match season.
On The Circle's Instagram account, Netflix also asked fans who they want to see make a return on the screen and join this new season.
To recall, the first season of Perfect Match consisted of personalities from Love Is Blind, The Ultimatum, The Circle, Too Hot to Handle, Sexy Beasts, and The Mole. Netflix may add more shows in the future.
Despite not having an official list of candidates yet, many can't help but think some standout contestants from Love Is Blind Season 4 will be joining Perfect Match Season 2. These include Micah, Irina, and Marshall.
Personally, Irina would make an interesting addition to any reality show casting.
Is There a Perfect Match Season 2 Trailer?
