Who Is Theodore Auguste Hein in 7th Time Loop?
Theodore Auguste Hein is Prince Arnold’s younger brother and the second in line to the throne. He has the same black hair as Prince Arnold as well as the King, which is considered rare in Galkhein.
In Episode 4 of the 7th Time Loop anime, Prince Arnold warned Rishe not to talk with him or approach him. When Rishe asked why, Arnold said that there was no need for her to know.
However, Theodore is most interested in Rishe, so an encounter between the two of them is inevitable.
He has sent many letters saying that he wanted to meet Rishe, but his older brother hasn’t sent a single reply, which is why he has to approach Rishe personally.
True enough, Rishe found Theodore sleeping in her garden plot. They finally meet each other, but Theodore surprises Rishe with his words.
He said he wanted to save Rishe from his brother, and he also thinks that she’s a poor thing being dragged to a place like Galkhein as a hostage.
Theodore is one of the many witnesses to Arnold’s cruelty and ruthlessness on the battlefield every time he wields his sword, so he worries that Rishe might be killed someday, similar to how Arnold killed their birth mother.
So, Is Theodore Auguste Hein Evil?
No, Theodore Hein is not evil in 7th Time Loop. Yes, he kidnapped Rishe at some point, but he was just doing it to get Arnold’s attention.
In reality, Theodore only wants the best for his brother because he admires him the most.
Theodore also has a very compassionate heart. He has a benevolent personality, to the extent that he’s willing to donate his allowance to the slums to help them out.
He is also close to the people who came from the worst poverty, like Elsie and Kamil, who became close to Rishe.
More than anything else, Theodore only wants to become useful to Arnold. He wants to be acknowledged by his older brother since the royal family seldom interacts with one another.
In the public’s eye, Theodore looks like a prince who wants to take Arnold out of his place, but in truth, he wants to remove himself from the picture.
