Exploring Sung Suho's Powers
Suho is one of the strongest humans alive, so much so that only his father, Jin-Woo, can defeat him in hand-to-hand combat.
He also possesses extreme speed and durability and he can move objects telekinetically.
While still a teenager, he is stronger than S-Rank hunters and much stronger than Jin-Woo was before his level-up.
Is Sung Suho a Monarch?
Strictly speaking, Sung Suho isn't a monarch, or at least, he's unlike the monarchs we encountered in the Solo Leveling manhwa. However, the case is complicated.
First of all, Jin-Woo, Suho's father, is known as the Shadow Monarch, although he got his powers from Ashborn, a ruler, and an enemy of the monarchs.
While the monarchs are an ancient race of monsters who seek to wipe out humanity, the rulers are angelic humanoids who don't bear ill will against humanity.
As such, Ashborn and Jin-Woo's Shadow Monarch title doesn't mean they are literal monarchs.
Sung Suho is sometimes called "Little Monarch" because he is the Shadow Monarch's son.
However, this is simply a name given to him due to his parentage. The son of Sung Jin-Woo and Cha Hae-In doesn't possess the ability to turn the dead into a shadow army, at least not yet.
This is a power Jin-Woo received under very specific circumstances.
In comparison, Suho's unique situation makes him the only fighter of his kind, as a regular human with ruler powers had never existed before Jin-Woo.
Suho is so overpowered that his father has to seal his powers, although he is forced to use them sooner rather than later when a new threat plagues humanity.
