SAND LAND: THE SERIES Tells an Exciting New Story from Akira Toriyama
In addition to the renowned Prince of Demons arc (The Story of the Fiend Prince), SAND LAND: THE SERIES will adapt the Angelic Heroes arc (The Story of the Angel Hero), set in Forest Land rather than Sand Land.
From episodes 1 to 6, SAND LAND: THE SERIES will include sequences from the Sand Land film, which was released in August 2023.
It will recount the adventures of the demon prince Beelzebub, the old sheriff Rao, and a pillaging demon on their quest to locate the legendary mystic spring known as Phantom Lake, which could solve the problem of a pressing water shortage.
Episodes 7–13, on the other hand, will tell a new story Akira Toriyama developed himself. It will introduce new characters such as Ann, who will accompany Beelzebub and his comrades on their latest adventure, and Muniel, who serves as Forest Land's hero but has a connection to demons and monsters.
Is SAND LAND: THE SERIES on Netflix?
Unfortunately, SAND LAND: THE SERIES is not available on Netflix, so fans will have to use another streaming service to see it. It is also unclear whether Netflix will pick up the series at some point, so fans will need to keep an eye out for more updates and information.
Nonetheless, Netflix boasts an extensive library of action, fantasy, and adventure anime, like One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, Bleach, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and even Vinland Saga, depending on the region you live in.
How to Watch SAND LAND: THE SERIES?
If you live in the US, you'll need a Hulu subscription to watch SAND LAND: THE SERIES since the streaming platform confirmed that they will stream the anime exclusively for their subscribers.
If you’re residing outside the US, you need a Disney Plus account to watch SAND LAND: THE SERIES, as announced. It will not be available on Crunchyroll anytime soon, and it’s uncertain if they’ll pick up the series at some point, after all.
Aside from the anime series, Sand Land also has an anime movie that was released in August 2023 in Japan, and it has been confirmed that it will come to North American regions sometime in 2024.
