What Is SAND LAND: THE SERIES About?
SAND LAND: THE SERIES is set in a harsh wasteland where people and demons coexist and water is the most valuable resource.
It costs a lot of money, so every dweller in SandLand constantly suffers from extreme water shortages and thirst.
Beelzebub, the prince of the devils, is working hard to become a good demon in the future, but when an old sheriff requests his help, he decides to discontinue his training.
From here on, Beelzebub's goal is to seek the elusive fabled spring known as Phantom Lake, which is thought to be somewhere in the south of SandLand.
Together with Rao, the small-town sheriff with a dubious past, and a demon with a flair for thieving, they set off on an exciting new adventure!
Will SAND LAND: THE SERIES Be on Crunchyroll?
Unfortunately, SAND LAND: THE SERIES will not be available to stream on Crunchyroll for now.
It is also unclear whether the streaming service will pick up the series later, so fans will have to find another platform to watch it.
In addition, Crunchyroll has yet to announce whether it will pick up the Sand Land film, which was released in August 2023.
Where to Watch SAND LAND: THE SERIES in the US
To watch SAND LAND: THE SERIES in the US, you must have a Hulu account, since the streaming platform has confirmed that it has acquired the rights to distribute the series.
So far, there’s no information about whether Hulu or Disney+ will release an English dub version of the anime, but we will update this article once it has been confirmed.
Where to Watch SAND LAND: THE SERIES outside of the US
As announced, SAND LAND: THE SERIES will begin streaming on Disney+ Star’s “Star Anime Series” on March 20, 2024, worldwide except in the US.
The series will release seven episodes at the same time, with the first six episodes retelling the events of the Prince of Demons arc (The Story of the Fiend Prince) from the Sand Land film, and episodes 7 onwards following the Angelic Heroes arc (The Story of the Angel Hero), which Akira Toriyama created himself.
