The Tsukimichi anime continues to follow Makoto Misumi, who now teaches at the Rotsgard Academy. Among Makoto’s students is Jin Rohan.

In the latest episode, Jin is shown drinking at a bar with Abelia Hopelys. There, they talked about Jin’s plan to defeat a demidragon. Soon, they also talked about why they entered Rotsgard Academy.

Jin revealed a story about himself and his childhood friend Miranda, though because of their gulf in power, Jin called Miranda a monster.

Miranda soon left the village, never to return. Jin revealed that this is one of his biggest regrets, and this spurred him to hone his skills. This also resulted in him being scouted by the academy.

Based on the flashback, Miranda looks very much like a young Sofia Bulga, to the point that many fans thought the same.

Sofia herself soon states that she is Miranda, though she no longer goes by that name or even that identity.

There, Sofia also said that she discovered her true identity there – she was a creation of the greater dragon Luto.

Sofia Bulga is a major antagonist in the first season, as she and Lancer fought Makoto in season 1’s climactic fight.

Despite being one of the strongest adventurers in the world, Makoto’s power was too much for Sofia and Lancer to handle.

They didn’t die after the battle though. Now, their goal is to kill every greater dragon, including Luto. This seems to set up another confrontation between Sofia and Makoto.
