Video game tie-ins for upcoming anime are fairly common in the industry, though for the most part, these games are only released in Japan.
So, it’s surprising to see that this upcoming game will be released worldwide and with multiple language options.
I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World: An Upcoming Isekai With a Unique Premise
As the “Another World” in the title suggests, I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World is an upcoming isekai anime that will premiere this April.
While it may seem like any other isekai, it does have an interesting premise.
Specifically, the series follows Yuuya Tenjou, a bullied boy who comes across a door that transports him to another world where he finds priceless artifacts and cheat skills.
Unlike other isekai series, Yuuya can freely travel between the two worlds.
Aside from its unique isekai premise, the anime also features a stacked voice cast.
Playing the role of Yuuya Tenjou is Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kirito in Sword Art Online). Opposite him is Akari Kito (Nezuko in Demon Slayer) as Kaori Hojo.
Other voice cast members include Ai Kakuma (Eris Boreas Greyrat in Mushoku Tensei) as Luna, Nao Toyama (Chitoge in Nisekoi) as Night, and Sayaka Senbongi (Trish in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) as Miu Mido.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World MMORPG Announced
Ahead of the anime’s premiere, the upcoming MMORPG was announced, and it's titled Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musōsuru - Level Up wa Jinsei o Kaeta: Parallel Universe.
This game is unique among many anime tie-ins because of its worldwide release and the fact that it’s a browser game.
Typically, games such as these are released only for mobile devices.
There aren’t a lot of details yet about the game, but the new trailer does give fans a sneak peek at the gameplay.
Plus, it’s confirmed that the game will be free, though there will be in-game purchases that will be available at launch.
So far, there has been no release date announced for the game. However, the I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World anime is confirmed to premiere on April 6, 2023, in Japan.
