Channing Tatum's rumored cameo as Gambit in Deadpool and Wolverine has fueled again thanks to his social media interaction with Jackman.

Recently, the Magic Mike star left a comment on Jackman's Instagram post regarding his workout video for the MCU film.

Jackman responded by posting Tatum's comment on his Instagram story accompanied by the song "Lovin' You" by Minnie Riperton.

Interestingly enough, he used purple for the text color of his caption which added further to the speculation on Tatum's rumored Gambit cameo.

A lot of fans believe that Jackman's deliberate posting of Tatum's comment is a major tease on the actor's potential cameo in Deadpool and Wolverine.

So far, there is still no confirmation from Marvel Studios and the cast and crew of the film that Tatum is making an appearance.

Considering the actor's history with the character and the long delay of his solo movie project before the cancellation, a lot of fans would definitely be happy if Tatum did show up in the film as Gambit.

It would be a wonderful full-circle moment and a wish fulfillment for the actor as he finally gets a chance to play the fan-favorite mutant even for just a short amount of screen time.

Deadpool and Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters this July 26.
