Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender series was released today, and many have already started to watch it. Now, many are wondering how tall Avatar Kyoshi is in The Last Airbender live-action series.
Kyoshi’s appearance in the show may have come as a surprise to some, especially as she doesn’t appear this early in the original animated series.
Despite this, her appearance has proven quite popular. It also ignited discussions about her height.

Avatar Kyoshi’s Height in the Avatar Animated Show Explained
Of the previous Avatar incarnations, Kyoshi is no doubt one of the most memorable. After all, her legacy is apparent in the original, as Suki and the rest of the Kyoshi warriors model their appearance after her.
There’s also the fact that Avatar Kyoshi is an imposing figure. Even in the original cartoon, Kyoshi is incredibly tall. Coupled with her power as the Avatar, Kyoshi was a strong force during her time.
Kyoshi also appears during several parts of the cartoon to guide Aang. Beside the young (and rather small) airbender, Kyoshi’s striking height is clear to see.
So, how tall is Kyoshi in the original animated show? There’s no clear answer, as the series doesn’t exactly mention her specific height in feet or meters.
Still, it’s fair to say that she’s at least six feet tall, with some fans even believing that she’s around seven feet tall given how tall she looks compared to other characters.

How Tall Is Kyoshi in the Netflix Avatar Live-Action Series?
In the Netflix live-action series, Avatar Kyoshi is played by Yvonne Chapman, whose height is 1.73 meters or 5 foot 8 inches. Despite this, Kyoshi in the live-action series is much taller.
As shown in her scenes with Aang in the spirit world and when she takes over Aang’s body on Kyoshi Island, Kyoshi is shown to be just as tall or even taller than her cartoon counterpart.
Much like the animated series, the Netflix show does not mention the height of any of the characters. There’s also the fact that Kyoshi’s action scenes make it a bit difficult to tell just how tall she is.
Based on her scene with Aang, it seems that Avatar Kyoshi's height in the live-action series is around seven feet tall or so.
Kyoshi isn’t the only previous Avatar to appear in the live-action series, as you’ll see others like Avatar Roku.
