Four Knights of the Apocalypse has a new trailer that reveals the debut of more new characters like Gawain in the anime. With this new trailer, fans are now wondering how strong Gawain is in Four Knights of the Apocalypse.
This is an interesting question as Gawain is one of the titular knights of the apocalypse, indicating that she should be quite strong.
Readers of the manga should already have an idea of what to expect from her power-wise, but anime-only fans will need to wait for more episodes. At least, it won’t be long as the anime isn’t going on a break.

Gawain Is Finally Coming Soon to the Anime
The Four Knights of the Apocalypse anime began airing in Japan in October 2023, and it has since continued to get new episodes.
With the series now 16 episodes in, the anime got a new trailer that revealed the debut of new characters, as well as the return of the fan-favorite Meliodas from The Seven Deadly Sins.
Of the new characters, Gawain may have gotten the most attention from fans. Unlike the Gawain in Arthurian Legend, the Four Knights of the Apocalypse’s version of the character is a girl.
Voicing Gawain in the anime is Ai Fairouz, the popular VA who is best known for playing the role of Jolyne Cujoh in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and Power in Chainsaw Man.
Fairouz is joined by Koki Uchiyama (Tomura Shigaraki in My Hero Academia) as Lancelot and Ayumu Murase (Shoyo Hinata in Haikyuu!!) as Tristan.

Four Knights of the Apocalypse: How Strong Is Gawain?
As shown in the trailer, Gawain seems to be a formidable fighter. This is true based on the events of the manga.
Without getting too deep into spoiler territory, Gawain has been shown to be an incredibly powerful fighter, enough that she can stand up to former members of the Ten Commandments.
Gawain is also the current wielder of the most powerful Grace called Dawn, which allows her to transform, enhancing her physical abilities. On top of this, Gawain is also a capable magician.
The main thing holding Gawain back is her relative inexperience, meaning she still has some ways to go if she wants to achieve her full power.
Fans will finally see Gawain in the Four Knights of the Apocalypse anime soon. The show is currently streaming outside of Japan on Netflix.
