Hilda was 11 years old in the first season and as fans started noticing the huge difference in her physical appearance, the question surrounding her age in Season 3 obviously became a topic of conversation. That said, how old is Hilda in Season 3?
While nothing has been confirmed yet, it is worth noting that Hilda was confirmed to have turned into a 12-year-old by the end of Season 2.
Considering that she appears to be taller in Season 3 than the previous, there's a chance that she's grown older.
With that in mind, the creator behind the animated show, Luke Pearson, responded to a fan question worrying about how much change Hilda will undergo this third season:
"I can reassure you that Hilda won't be very different in [Hilda Season 3]. She's visibly slightly older, and has grown as a character, but it's not about her getting older in that way. She's still the character you know and like."

What To Expect in Netflix's Hilda This Season 3
Ahead of Hilda Season 3's release, Netflix previewed the last season at the Ottowa International Animation Festival on September 21, alongside the official synopsis for the final season (via What's on Netflix):
Hilda returns, eager to escape the bustling city of Trolberg for a refresh. She embarks on a train with Mum, Frida, David and of course her bold sense of adventure. In Tofoten, Hilda is encouraged to lean into the soft living of this sleepy town by her quirky Great Aunt Astrid - walks by the river, delicious baking, local shopping.
But this quiet lifestyle is quickly interrupted when Hilda gets a whiff of something mysterious nearby: a Fairy Mound! Her curiosity leads to more than just an adventure and a new creature-y friend... But to an eerie landscape where danger lurks in the shadows. The third season will uncover truths never explored before in the series!
While a lot of Hilda fans are expecting the third season to not be the last, we'll have to wait until Netflix makes a potential Season 4 a possibility.
