House of the Dragon took the world by storm, or probably by fire when it premiered last year. This Game of Thrones spinoff achieved immediate success given its predecessor’s reputation and the way it’s filling the gap left by the disaster that GOT’s finale executed. HOTD is one of the modern TV shows that are sure to receive more seasons; fans just have to know when, and recent information revealed that we might have to wait a little longer for the second season of one of the most epic, dramatic shows.
In an interview with Variety, HBO Max programming boss Casey Bloy hinted that the Game of Thrones spin-off would return in 2024, but he did not get too specific, although he noted that it would not be eligible for the 2024 Emmy season and the Emmys eligibility period ends on May 31, 2024, which makes House of the Dragon Season 2 release date to arrive sometime starting from June 2024 and so on.
HBO is reportedly working on several additional Game of Thrones spin-offs, including one centered on Jon Snow. According to Bloys, the spinoffs will happen if their script lives up to the standards and expectations. “My philosophy is [that] a good script is the number one priority,” he said. “I am not doing it based on wanting to have one a year, two a year. I want to do it based on the scripts that we're excited about.”
He continued, “You have to develop a lot of things, try things. You never know what's going to work. So we're currently doing that. I'm not opposed to any number of shows. There's probably a natural limit to how many fans want, but I'm open to any as long as we feel really good about the scripts and the prospects for a series.”

Titles of other Game of Thrones spin-offs have been revealed before, and currently in the works are Ten Thousand Ships, Sea Snake, and The Hedge Knight/Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. No other information surrounding the shows has been disclosed other than that scripts are being written, which does not guarantee a go-ahead for production.
