With the new season just a bit over a week away, HIDIVE revealed its official Winter 24 anime lineup, which features highly anticipated shows like Gushing Over Magical Girls and Chained Soldier.
These two shows are ecchi titles that many fans of the genre are very much excited about. But for those who want to watch shows that are a bit more safe for work, HIDIVE also has a bunch of other simulcasts lined up.
HIDIVE’s Winter 24 Simulcast Lineup Features Anticipated Ecchi Anime
HIDIVE is a go-to streaming platform for many viewers in the US, the UK, and other select countries. That’s because this service is affiliated with Sentai Filmworks, which is the distributor of many popular titles.
Just this season, HIDIVE had several popular titles in its roster, including the hit isekai The Eminence in Shadow Season 2. From the looks of it though, the theme of Winter 24’s lineup is ecchi.
That’s because HIDIVE will carry Gushing Over Magical Girls, the "twisted" magical girl anime that is a heavily NSFW take on the magical girl genre.
Its story follows Utena Hiiragi, a girl who becomes a villain but relishes it thanks to her twisted love for magical girls.
Then there’s Chained Soldier, the new dark fantasy anime that’s based on the Shonen Jump+ manga of the same name.
This series is set in a matriarchal society where women can get supernatural powers by consuming a “Peach” from another dimension. These powers are key to keeping the world safe from invading monsters.
One of the Earth’s defenders is Kyouka Uzen who can command these monsters. One day, a man named Yuuki asks to become her “slave” in fights, though she discovers that she must give him rewards after doing so.

HIDIVE Will Also Stream Other New and Returning Anime
For something a bit more wholesome, there’s The Dangers in My Heart Season 2, the continuation of Spring 23’s hit rom-com anime. This show will premiere early in January.
Iskeai fans will also not be disappointed as there’s another interesting new show coming up. Titled My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, this anime promises to delight fans who want a straight-up power fantasy.
Rounding out the Winter 24 HIDIVE lineup are Urusei Yatsura’s new cour, as well as the second half of Ragna Crimson. HIDIVE will also release English dubs for shows such as The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy.
As a bonus, HIDIVE will also stream the sci-fi drama film The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes in early January.
