HIDIVE is set to stream another English-language version of a previously released anime. This time, HIDIVE announced the Love Flops anime’s English dub cast and release date.
This harem romantic comedy anime aired a year ago. Given that most dubs are released just a few weeks after an anime’s premiere, many didn’t expect the series to get an English dub release.
Love Flops Complete English Dub Cast Revealed
Love Flops (or Renai Flops in Japanese) is an anime by Passione, the studio behind shows such as Mieruko-chan and Yuri Is My Job! The Love Flops anime aired in the Fall 2022 season.
Its original Japanese version was streamed on HIDIVE, and it features big-name VAs, including Rie Takahashi (Megumin in KonoSuba) and Ayana Taketatsu (Nino Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets).
Ahead of the show’s dub release, HIDIVE announced its complete English cast. The show’s dub VAs include:
- Jeremy Gee (Keiji Akaashi in Haikyuu!!) as Asahi Kashiwagi
- Brittney Karbowski (Hitch Dreyse in Attack on Titan) as Amelia Irving
- Natalie Rial (Honoka Hara in The Dangers in My Heart) as Aoi Izumisawa and Ai Izawa
- Juliet Simmons (Kanade Ooe in Chihayafuru) as Ilya Ilyukhina
- Maggie Flecknoe (Mina Hibino in Teasing Master Takagi-san) as Bai Mongfa
- Cate Smyth as Karin Istel
- Blake Shepard (Soma Yukihira in Food Wars!) as Yoshio Feynman
- Kira Vincent-Davis (Chloe von Einzbern in Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya) as Loverin
- Molly Searcy (Kozuki Hiyori in One Piece) as Yoshino Ijuin
- Katelyn Barr (Nikki Hanada in Dr. Stone: New World) as Ubukata
- Alyssa Marek (Ruby Hoshino in Oshi no Ko) as Himari Natsukawa
- Adam Gibbs (Cid Kagenou in The Eminence in Shadow) as Kanata Moriyama
- Jay Hickman (Koji Suguwara in GATE) as Chief Sawatari

HIDIVE to Stream Love Flops English Dub in Late November
This isn’t the first time that HIDIVE will release the English dub of an anime one year after its premiere.
Just recently, HIDIVE announced the English version of Phantom of the Idol, an anime that was also streamed on the platform with Japanese audio last year.
HIDIVE revealed that the Love Flops English dub will be streamed beginning on November 28, 2023. It’s not clear if one episode will be released per week or if all episodes will be available on the same day.
Whatever the case may be, this dub release is great news for fans who missed this anime, especially as it aired during the stacked Fall 22 season.
