Hideo Kojima, the creator of Metal Gear Solid and the upcoming Death Stranding game, is clearly a fan of the DC's Aquaman film.
The legendary video game developer has taken it to social media to share some of his favorite films that are either in Japanese theaters now or coming soon, and his list includes Aquaman, The Guilty, If Beale Street Could Talk, and Green Book.
"The films coming to the theater in Japan from Jan to March that I highly recommend," Kojima tweeted.
Kojima is known for games with edge-of-your-seat compelling stories with a lot of action and tension. The Aquaman film may be totally different from the kinds of stories his games tell but it would be cool to see Kojima adapt a movie based on this DC superhero film.
Kojima is currently working on Death Stranding, which features some popular talent like Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, and Guillermo del Toro. Although we've seen some trailers for the upcoming game, the gameplay for Death Stranding remains a mystery.
Aquaman is now showing in theaters.
