Here’s The Trailer For ILMxLAB’s Exciting Star Wars: Vader Immortal

Star Wars gamers have a new virtual reality game to look forward to next year.

According to Slash Gear the guys at ILMxLab just recently spoke at Oculus Connect 5 about their upcoming title, a virtual reality experience called Vader Immortal.

"Our mission at ILMxLAB is to have fans step inside our stories, and ‘Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series' represents a significant step forward in that ongoing quest," said ILMxLAb executive Vicki Dobbs Beck. "Our friends at Oculus share ILMxLAB's ambition to bring compelling immersive narratives to life and using Oculus' hardware, we will invite fans to experience Darth Vader as never before."

The game which will come in three parts will begin with Vader Immortal: Episode I, sending players to a time between Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV- A New Hope.

In Vader Immortal: Episode I, gamers will find themselves dropped out of hyperspace near Mustafar, popularly known by Star Wars fans as the volcanic planet where Darth Vader's palace can be found.

It turns out that it was all Vader's doing after all. ILMxLAB just recently dropped the official teaser for Vader Immortal: Episode I (you can check it up above), and in it, we get to find a first-person experience where we drop down to Mustafar to come face to face with Darth Vader himself.

Right now ILMxLab is keeping details about the full Vader Immortal experience a secret, but we definitely can't wait to learn more about the goal of the VR game. What in the world would Vader want that he'd drag gamers down to his own planet?

Vader Immortal: Episode I is set for release sometime 2019.
