Here’s Some Epic New Details About The Million Falcon Ride At Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Star Wars fans are certainly in for a treat once Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens up at Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California and Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida.

Not only will the Star Wars theme-park introduce fans to a new Star Wars planet experience with attractions that have humanoids, aliens, and droids; it's also going to have a Millennium Falcon ride!

New details about the iconic starship ride have just made its way online thanks to a bonus feature in Solo: A Star Wars Story's home release. The Laughing Place just recently put up new information about the Millenium Falcon ride from Solo's "The Millennium Falcon: From Page to Park" featurette, giving everyone an idea of what to expect from the new attraction.

The ride which will consist of seven pods with six seats each will allow Galaxy's Edge visitors to interact with the environment around them, allowing riders to control the Falcon while they're inside.

The Millennium Falcon Attraction's Executive Creative Director, Asa Kalama, explained in the featurette:

"You're truly in control of the fastest and most iconic ship in the entire galaxy. And Hondo, he's gone ahead and added a couple extra seats so he can get as many of those flight crews through as possible. There are 200 some odd buttons, knobs, and switches on the inside of the cockpit and they all do stuff. If you're the gunners in the center there and you don't fire back on those TIE Fighters fast enough they're going to riddle the hull with laser bolts, the engineers in back, it's really up to them to keep the whole Falcon in working order so they're back there furiously working away at their various systems."

But that's not all. Fans will also get sent on a mission for Star Wars Rebels and Clone Wars Hondo Ohnaka, taking riders on an adventure where they have to bring back loot while making sure there isn't a single scratch on the ship.

Based on the description, guests are definitely going to have one hell of a ride when they get to visit Disneyland's Millennium Falcon attraction.

We can't wait for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge to open next year!
