Hailee Steinfeld's MCU Return in Phase Five Seemingly Confirmed

After her impressive MCU debut in last year's Hawkeye, there have been questions about Hailee Steinfeld's next appearance in the franchise which has been speculated for months. While Marvel has not made any official comment regarding it, it looks like we now have our first clue at her next step in the MCU.

According to Disney Latino (via The Direct), Steinfeld is set to return as Kate Bishop in a Phase Five project. The revelation came after she was included in the article "The 5 Marvel super heroes you have to know before seeing Phase 5 of the MCU." However, they didn't give any specific details about the title of the project that she will be involved in.

So far, Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed the article's claim regarding Steinfeld's future in the MCU so we could still take it with a grain of salt. Considering that it came from an official Disney website, there is a higher likelihood that the information ends up being true.

Since Steinfeld is seemingly confirmed to be part of Phase Five, it does pose a question on which project she might potentially appear next since Marvel Studios is not knowingly working on the second season of Hawkeye or a feature film centering on the character.

There have been rumors that Steinfeld will make an appearance in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania after she was allegedly spotted on the set of the film. Another possibility is in Echo since it is a spin-off of Hawkeye and she could show up to connect the two shows or help Maya Lopez in one of her battles.

Either way, it is exciting to know that Steinfeld is all but confirmed to be involved in a Phase Five project. All we can do for now is speculate on which project she will appear in and how she'll play into the future of the MCU moving forward.
