The Witch and the Beast is a dark fantasy anime that involves witches and the misfortunes they bring to people. One of their victims is Guideau, who has a mark on her neck that compels her to hunt witches and find out the truth.

The Story of Guideau and Her Neck Mark in The Witch and the Beast
In the first episode of The Witch and the Beast, Guideau showed the mark on her neck to Lady Ione, also known as Lady Witch.
She asked Ione what the mark on her neck was, to which Ione happily answered that it was a witch’s curse.
Witches stand at the pinnacle of sorcery. They sometimes aid people, but they also put curses on them. Such as the case of Guideau, who can’t use her original body after a witch placed a curse on him.
Now, in a young girl’s body, Guideau is on the hunt for witches, together with her acting guardian and sometimes partner, Ashaf.
Apparently, Guideau only agreed to work with Ashaf at the Order of Magical Resonance to slay witches. She has no interest in other monstrous creatures and would only step in when witches are involved.
Guideau hates witches so much that she would love to sucker-punch every single one of them.
Despite Guideau’s inferior body, she would always act impulsively as long as there are witches in sight.
How Can the Mark on Guideau’s Neck Be Undone in The Witch and the Beast?
Lady Ione revealed that once a witch’s mark has been cast, it will be very difficult to undo.
Even so, Guideau will stop at nothing to return to her original body and become the most beautiful and terrifying of creatures once again.
To undo the curse, Guideau has three options to explore. One of them is for Guideau to receive a loving kiss from Prince Charming, basically receiving a heartfelt kiss from a partner in pure mutual love.
The second one is for Guideau to find the hateful witch and convince her to undo the mark, and the third is to kiss a random witch, but that would only work temporarily.
Once the curse has been undone, Guideau plans to kill Ashaf and even finish the Order. He also plans to continue being the natural enemy of witches and vanquish them for good.
