Grisaia: Phantom Trigger is a recently announced anime based on a visual novel, ideal for fans of casual but adventurous games.

The story transports us to the unorthodox Mihama Academy, home to students of unusual skills, including gunslinger Rena, sniper Tohka, demolitions expert Chris, spy Murasaki, and their handler, Haruto

The girls belong to a special operations team called SORD (Social Ops, Research & Development), and their day-to-day tasks involve investigating and neutralizing various threats.

Bibury Animation Studio will produce the newly announced anime series. The studio previously worked on a 2019 Grisaia OAV while it's also home to The Quintessential Quintuplets.

Grisaia: Phantom Trigger has announced a few cast members who will be returning for the anime series after being part of the 2019 OAV.

These include:

• Maaya Uchida (Catarina Claes from My Next Life As a Villainess) will portray Rena.
• Ayane Sakura (Tsubaki Sawabe from Your Lie in April) will reprise her role as Tohka.
• Kaori Nazuka (Aurora from The Eminence in Shadow) is going to play the role of Christina.
• Atsumi Tanezaki (Chise Hatori from The Ancient Magus' Bride) will return as Murasaki.
