Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will screen My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! The Movie at Anime NYC on November 19, 2023, at 2:45 PM EST.

In Japan, the movie is slated to release on December 8, 2023, in local theaters.

It makes sense for Crunchyroll to screen the film in the US because it is currently streaming the anime’s first two seasons and their respective OVAs.

Crunchyroll is also known for bringing anime films to US theaters such as Makoto Shinkai’s latest film, Suzume, which was screened in early 2023.

The studio in charge of producing My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! The Movie is SILVER LINK., the same studio that produced the TV anime series and OVAs.

SILVER LINK. is a renowned anime studio that has worked on several popular hits such as Masamune-kun's Revenge, The Misfit of Demon King Academy, and Restaurant to Another World.

As previously mentioned, the author of the original light novel, Satoru Yamaguchi, is writing the original story for the movie.

The anime’s staff is also confirmed to return for the film. Leading the project is director Keisuke Inoue, who has worked on other shows such as Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! and Vinland Saga Season 2.

He is joined by screenplay writers Megumi Shimizu (Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) and Megumu Sasano (Ristorante Paradiso), and character designer Miwa Oshima (Black Summoner).

The film’s theme song has also been revealed, and it's titled Harenochi Hallelujah!

The theme is performed by the Japanese band angela and VA Shōta Aoi. They have previously collaborated on the opening and ending themes for the anime.

As previously mentioned, Crunchyroll will screen the movie on November 19 at the River Pavilion at Javits Center during Anime NYC.

There is a huge chance Crunchyroll will also stream the film sometime after its cinema and Blu-ray/DVD release, should it get one.
