Gamers Rejoice! Shiny Pokemon Aren't as Hard to Find in Pokemon Let's Go!

Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and Let's Go! Eevee may have changed a number of mechanics from previous titles but it does keep a number of traditions from other games, like Gym battles and the Pokemon League. Another tradition the Let's Go games keep are Shiny Pokemon, which are rare versions of regular Pokemon that have different colors, the first one being Red Gyrados from Gold and Silver.

These Pokemon are usually really hard to get, often spawning after fighting thousands of regular monsters in the tall grass. However, the Let's Go games have made it easier to get these shiny Pokemon, as the two titles make these creatures spawn independently since there are no longer any battles with wild monsters. Seems like removing that feature did have a few benefits, whether fans want to admit it or not.

Shiny Pokemon are an odd phenomenon, often the prize of those that grind after countless hours. There might be a small number of fans who will miss those grinding hours but newer gamers will probably prefer this method over what came before. It also helps that there are no random battles since players will be able to see all of the Pokemon walking around.

Essentially remakes of Pokemon Yellow, Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and Let's Go! Eevee are available now on the Nintendo Switch. Each version has a number of exclusive Pokemon in them, though this shouldn't be a problem to those who still have Pokemon GO on their mobile phones.
