Game of Thrones: Someone Tried to Make Sense of Tyrion's 'Honeycomb and Jackass' Joke

While Game of Thrones has wrapped up a lot of major arcs, there are still a lot of questions left unanswered by the end. One running gag of the show is that Tyrion has a joke that starts with him saying he brought a ‘honeycomb and jackass to a brothel' but we never get to hear the rest of it. While there's no official reveal of where the joke goes, a fan has put together something that could make sense of it all.

This is supposedly where Tyrion was taking his story:

I'll admit, a lot of it kind of follows the character's sense of humor, what with Tyrion known for crude jokes and his height, but I guess what ruins it for me is the unit of measurement used to tell how ‘originally tall' he was. I mean, even if they do use feet and inches, I don't think they would announce it in this kind of manner.

Then again, that's probably me just nitpicking a piece of fan speculation.

If you're curious about where this joke was first mentioned, Tyrion famously tried to explain it while he ‘confessed his crimes' in Season One. The thing is, Tyrion will always get cut off before he tries to tell the story. It comes up again in Mereen when he tries to tell it to Grey Worm and Missandei, and he tries to tell it one last time to Bran's small council in the finale.

Hopefully over time, George R.R. Martin will give us the official full version of the joke, but for now, this guess is the best we have.
