Game of Thrones is Filming Multiple Endings, Says Hannah Murray (Gilly)

Over the weekend, Con of Thrones 2018, the biggest Game of Thrones convention, took place in Dallas. Some members of the cast and crew were there to converse with fans and confirm or deny rumors about the show's eighth and final season.

Since shooting on the final season began, rumors have surfaced that HBO may film multiple endings as a way to prevent spoilers from spreading. Stars like Emilia Clarke (Daenerys), Maisie Williams (Arya), and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime) have all weighed in, but their responses confirmed nothing about it.

For example, since shooting on season 8 began, rumors have swirled that HBO may film multiple endings in a bid to prevent spoilers. Everyone from Maisie Williams (Arya) to Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime) have weighed in, but none of them confirmed. Now, Hannah Murray, who plays Gilly in the show, has also weighed in. Speaking to the Daily Dot, the actress said:

So I only just heard that for the first time, just today. I don't—I was not under the impression that there were multiple endings, but I could be wrong and I could be being fooled and I could have [a] completely incorrect idea of how this season ends.

It's likely that what Murray heard could be right but she might be just pulling our leg about the multiple endings. Jon Snow actor Kit Harrington lied about his character's future before, so I won't be surprised if Murray was actually trying to mislead us.

Murray has already finished filming her scenes for Game of Thrones Season 8. She told Winteriscoming: "The final day was definitely very emotional because you're having to say goodbye to a lot of people. I feel so lucky to have been a part of the show for so long."

It would be interesting to see Gilly interact with characters she hasn't seen before when Game of Thrones returns for its final season next year.
