Sublime clarified to the publication that UAP is not its subsidiary. It explained that her management activities would be overseen through an MOU partnership with the other label.

The company also assured fans it would support the idol in her global activities and help her unleash her full potential.

Upon her departure, NMIXX continued promoting as a six-member girl group.

Jinni's Departure Sparks Rumors That She Was Kicked Out

After JYP Entertainment announced her departure 10 months after NMIXX's debut, fans were left curious about whether she was removed from the group.

They noted that the move came after a YouTube channel revealed that Jinni was romantically involved with a member of a rookie K-pop boy group. The controversial channel Sojang posted the video NMIXX JINNI withdrawal + 'real' reason for termination of the contract in which it claimed that the idols were seen visiting motels in the past months.

The same YouTube account soon confirmed that the male idol was YOUNITE's Steve, who is 21. Since Jinni is still underage, it would be illegal for her to visit such places. Steve could also be sued if proven guilty of having intercourse with a minor.

Sojang added that JYP Entertainment staff members knew about her dating life, but the agency never commented on it.

Meanwhile, fans have since slammed the controversial YouTuber for spreading the alleged issue.
