First Star Wars: Episode VIII Look at Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill on the Set

As fans mourn the death of Star Wars legend Carrie Fisher, a behind-the-scenes photo of the actress who played Leia and Mark Hamill has been released.

The photo shows Fisher and Hamill reuniting in the set, both wearing robes to conceal their costumes. Oscar Isaac, who plays Poe Dameron in the new Star Wars trilogy, shared this touching moment on his Facebook page:

This photo indicates that the Skywalker siblings will probably reunite in Star Wars: Episode VIII. They didn't share screen time in The Force Awakens, and they didn't spend much time together in Return of the Jedi, so it would be exciting to see them together in a new scene in Rian Johnson's untitled sequel.

Star Wars: Episode VIII is set to release in theaters on December 15, 2017.
