Finn Wolfhard recently drew flak for his brutally honest remark surrounding the current state of the MCU and his interest in joining the franchise.
The Stranger Things and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire star participated in a "Lie Detector Test" video for Vanity Fair where he was asked several questions while undergoing a polygraph test.
One of the questions that was asked was his thoughts regarding the MCU franchise and whether he is interested in getting cast in the franchise. His honest response led to divisive reactions among fans.

Finn Wolfhard Believes the Recent MCU Releases Are "Mid"
In the "Lie Detector Test" video, Wolfhard was asked whether he is interested in joining a Marvel movie. He responded with, "Yes, in the past."
In a follow-up question, he was asked if he sought help from his Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire co-star Paul Rudd to get cast in the franchise. He answered with a resounding "No."
However, in another follow-up question, when asked whether he believes that the recent MCU releases have been "mid," Wolfhard briefly paused and said "Yes."
The examiner confirmed that Wolfhard was being honest with all his responses to the questions.
As expected, Wolfhard's responses garnered divisive reactions among fans as some of them pointed out the irony of his answer as he recently starred in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, which received mixed reviews from the critics.
Some fans defended the MCU as they named the successful releases that the franchise has recently.

Regardless of what fans think about his responses, it should be pointed out that Wolfhard was simply expressing his personal opinion and everyone is also free to either agree or disagree with his take.
