Final Fantasy VII Remake is Getting a Seven-Minute Commercial in Japan Soon

Final Fantasy VII Remake is going to make a lot of people wait in line next year, though only time will tell if it will make them happy (please make us happy). The world is pretty excited since this is THE Final Fantasy game to anyone who grew up in the ‘90s. As we patiently wait until March 3 before the first game comes out, because there will be more than one installment, Japan is going nuts by releasing a seven-minute-long commercial for the game.

Thanks to 4Gamer (via Siliconera), we know that we're going to be getting a seven-minute trailer for the game with a very cute story. Actor Masakata Kubota will be playing as a man who has never played the original Final Fantasy VII. This soon gets the attention of his girlfriend, who used to be a fan of the game but stopped, and another male fan.

We're going to guess that they relive the old game so that they can get ready for Final Fantasy VII Remake, which is a totally normal reaction, let's be honest. I bought it on my PS Vita not too long ago at $4.99 just so I could know all the story details about the game before the remake comes out.

Yeah, I'm one of THOSE fans, sue me.

Anyway, it's pretty neat seeing this game receive so much love. This commercial will undoubtedly get a lot of fans nostalgic about their favorite/most-hated Final Fantasy video game. Here's hoping Final Fantasy VII Remake doesn't ruin these memories.

Final Fantasy VII Remake comes out on PS4 next year, on March 3, 2020.
