Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered is Getting a Free Demo With Online Play

Final Fantasy Crystal: Chronicles Remastered Edition is coming in late August but those that are a bit wary about the title will be happy to know that they don't have to immediately purchase it to see if the gameplay is their cup of tea. The cool dudes at Square Enix have announced a free demo of the game called - hoo boy - Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition Lite, which promises to be quite the gameplay experience for the curious.

According to Square Enix (via Gematsu), Crystal Chronicles Lite will come out on August 27, the exact same day the full game releases. This won't be a weak demo either as the studio has announced that players will be able to play through the first three dungeons solo or in online multiplayer. As if that wasn't enough incentive, those that have Lite will be able to join games with players that buy the full game, which is extremely generous.

Like most demos, players that enjoy the appetizer can transfer their savefile to the main course. Android and iOS users will start with the Lite version of the game and can then pay to turn their demo into the full game, rather than purchase it separately like in consoles. Honestly, we're just happy that Square Enix seems to be thinking of everyone.
