Fantastic Four's Speculated Sue Storm Actress Breaks Silence on Rumored Role

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a long, long time before we ever get to see their version of the Fantastic Four reboot, there are already plenty of talks circling around the lead roles of Reed Richards and the Invisible Woman.

Star Wars actor Adam Driver was previously reported to be in final talks to play Richards in the upcoming MCU project.

As for who the Invisible Woman is, numerous reports claimed Mila Kunis is one of the front-running candidates for the said role.

However, a new report debunked this by saying the That 70s Show star may have been in talks with a different role in Marvel’s first family, but the role is NOT to be Sue Storm.

“Apparently, if you go to lunch with somebody that is also in the industry, you then start working together according to the internet…” Kunis told on The Late Late Show with James Corden (via Twitter user Wandjuul).

It is worth mentioning that the actress was spotted having lunch with director Matt Shakman earlier this year, which sparked the rumors in the first place.

“We went out to a deli and had lunch together, and the next day, I’m somehow in Fantastic Four.”

Seeing as Kunis herself has confirmed to not be on Fantastic Four, it remains to be seen if she will indeed be cast in a different role as the new rumor intended.

Apparently, the role Kunis is lined up to, according to scooper MyTimeToShineHello, is to be a gender-swapped Ben Grimm aka The Thing.

However, as it has been suggested, this should be taken with a grain of salt for now, given that Kunis has denied being in Fantastic Four altogether.

It is believed that the answers we’ve been looking for will only come out once the San Diego Comic-Con arrives in July.

Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four reboot is currently slated to premiere on February 14, 2025.
