Fans Believe Avengers: Infinity War Ripped-Off Naruto's Story

Some anime fans online are pointing out how Avengers: Infinity War's story elements are similar to the popular Naruto anime series, particularly the anime's Fourth Shinobi World War arc. They're saying that Thanos is just like Madara Uchiha, the Infinity Stones are pretty much the tailed beasts, and just like the anime villain, the Mad Titan also suffered loss to acquire a great power a.k.a. Soul Stone (Mangekyo).

You can find a lot of dedicated fans on Twitter and Reddit sharing the connections between the Marvel film and Masashi Kishimoto's anime/manga series. Check out these tweets:

Here's a list of similarities: the Black Order members are pretty much like the villainous Akatsuki group; Vision is walking down a similar path that Gaara took with a terrible power of the Bijuu; Doctor Strange uses a Kage Bunshin - Naruto's signature technique; Groot is the master of The First Hokage's wood techniques; Thanos pulls off a replacement jutsu against Gamora and even does an All Mighty Push to throw a moon at Iron Man.

Of course, with a film as big as Avengers: Infinity War, it's easy to find similar plot tropes you'd find in popular anime shows like Naruto.

Avengers: Infinity War is now showing in theaters.
