Chainsaw Man Part 2 is finally here with the release of Chapter 98, and it was a massive hit, getting over 3 million views in under 24 hours. The latest Chainsaw Man chapter also introduced Asa Mitaka, a new character that fans are now going crazy over.

So, who exactly is Asa Mitaka? From the looks of it, she is the main villain of this next arc.
Chapter 98 did not feature the protagonist, Denji. Instead, the super-sized chapter followed Asa Mitaka, an awkward and antisocial high school student. The events of the chapter start off tamely, but it soon escalates into violence.
By the end, Asa Mitaka seemingly becomes the host of the War Devil. According to some fan theories, the War Devil is one of the Four Horsemen alongside the Control Devil, Makima.
This is supported by the fact that Asa Mitaka’s eyes look a lot like Makima’s by the end of the chapter.

At first glance, Asa Mitaka may not seem all that unique in terms of looks. But the scars that she gets, and the “Makima eyes” help make her look more distinctive. It also helps that she had a memorable (and incredibly gory) moment in her first appearance as the War Devil.
