Depending on who you ask, Spider-Man: Homecoming is either the best or second-best film that has featured the wallcrawler. It was mostly a comedy, sure, but it did feature a very humanized version of Peter Parker and presented some new conflict for him that felt refreshing, especially when you consider how many times Uncle Ben has died in these beginnings.
The DVD and Blu-Ray came out already, but a fan wasn't pleased with the designs for them and decided to make one from scratch. This has resulted in a piece of very good fan-made art that is not only better than the original but pays tribute to a teen comedy that probably inspired the first MCU outing of Peter Parker.

For those unfamiliar, the DVD cover art is inspired by Ferris Bueller's Day Off, a classic teen comedy directed by John Hughes that stars Matthew Broderick. It's clear that the writers of Homecoming were inspired by Hughes in some way, as the tone of the film and its numerous chuckle-worthy gags often felt like they came from the late-great director. Seeing this piece of fan-made art makes all these inspirations feel appropriate.
Some have argued that Homecoming was a bit too light and could have been more dramatic. This is true to some extent since there is very little drama to be had in the movie, aside from one chilling scene with Peter Parker and Adrian Toomes in a car.
Considering how Avengers: Infinity War ended, it would have been easy to assume that we had seen the last of Tom Holland's Spider-Man. Sadly, they advertised the movie in advance and we all know that he is going to be brought back somehow. Miles Morales will likely make his home in the animated realm for now.
Spider-Man will return in Avengers 4, which comes out on May 3, 2019. Spider-Man: Homecoming comes is available now on DVD and Blu-Ray.
