Emperor Palpatine and Ewok Hunt Return in Latest Star Wars Battlefront II Update

The controversial, yet not-terrible, Star Wars Battlefront II recently had to remove Emperor Palpatine and Ewok Hunt, due to balancing issues that weren't fair to players. Palpatine, in particular, was too overpowered, with his Force Lightning actually going through walls and continuing to hurt players. After a month of the character not being playable, Palpatine and Ewok Hunt are back, hopefully, better than ever.

All of the patches made for the game were listed in the official Battlefront forums, showing that the Sith Lord will no longer be able to target foes through walls and hit them with lightning. In addition to that, the developers also fixed some of the Ewok Hunt bugs, like Stormtroopers being unable to board the shuttle, which was very problematic.

Other minor fixes were also announced, including rebalanced stamina for Jedi Heroes. It is good seeing EA and DICE fix all of these issues, especially after all of the controversy that marred this game during its pre-release hype. It's safe to assume that this is a perfectly playable game for Star Wars fans, it's just a shame that it took so long to get here.

Star Wars Battlefront II has no season passes and has been adjusted so that heroes will no longer have to be unlocked, making it a fine multiplayer title. It also has a single-player story, something that the first game did not have. The game is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
