Upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II Heroes Will be Voiced by Clone Wars Actors

It was announced that there will be four more heroes coming to Star Wars Battlefront II—Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, Anakin Skywalker, and Count Dooku. Now Matt Wood confirms that the characters will all be voiced by their Clone Wars counterparts

Matt Wood revealed recently at a Panel that he's be reprising his role as General Grievous for the upcoming #Battlefront2 #CloneWars DLC. He also said that Matt Lanter & [James Arnold Taylor] would be voicing Anakin & Obi Wan and that there would be dialogue from the films as well as TCW series.

There's no confirmation that Corey Burton will be voicing Dooku yet, but it's very likely that he'll be onboard as well.

As of now, the Battlefront II roadmap is saying that we should expect the arrival of Grievous and Kenobi come August with Anakin and Dooku coming by the end of the year. Winter will also see the drop of the Geonosis map, which has been teased as one of the biggest maps that the game will ever get.

No doubt, a lot of gamers still think that the updates have been incredibly meager for the game, but seeing as a lot of the developers have been transferred over to other games, we'll have to make do with the pace that the current developers are at—for now.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
