Due to its parody style, some newcomers might falsely assume no one dies in The Eminence in Shadow. But who dies and who survives in The Eminence in Shadow? Here's all you need to know.

Does Cid Kagenou Die?
Yes and no (but mostly no). As The Eminence in Shadow is an isekai anime, Cid's death is basically what gets the plot going. Had he not died, he wouldn't have been reincarnated into a new world.
While his past self, Minoru, died in an accident, there's no suggestion that Cid might die soon, not permanently at least.
This clarification is necessary as Season 1 features an episode during which Cid dies for a few minutes, but his power allows him to return.
Do Any Shadow Garden Members Die?
Not yet. So far, the Seven Shadows are very much alive, although you might get worried about their fates from time to time.
In particular, fans presume Delta is dead for an episode or so when she goes after Juggernaut. But to the relief of her friends and the viewers, she turns out to have survived.
Does Rose Oriana Die?
Rose Oriana goes through hard times throughout Season 1. After stabbing her fiancé, Perv Asshat, she is persecuted, and her fate is uncertain for a while.
However, she's alive and simply lying low as a Shadow Garden member under the codename 666.
Does Elizabeth Die in The Eminence in Shadow?
While it initially looked like there was no way for Elizabeth to live, Cid found a way to make it happen.
The first few episodes of The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 present Cid and his friends with a vampire problem.
The awaited awakening of the Blood Queen Elizabeth, an ancient vampire, is threatening the entire world.
The Eminence in Shadow: Who Dies?
While The Eminence in Shadow doesn't tend to kill off its main characters, it has a surprisingly high death count, with over 500 dead in Season 1.
These are largely unnamed members of the Diablos Cult, with a few other antagonists here and there, and of course, some unnamed victims of the cult. However, a few named characters do die.
For instance, Cid kills Zenon Griffin, a Swordsmanship teacher, who was secretly part of the cult.
Griffin tried to use Cid as a scapegoat but eventually fell victim to Cid's legendary atomic power.
Similarly, Cid eliminates Rex, a man known as the First Child of the Cult of Diablos, and Lutheran Barnett, a former scientist known as Sir Gaunt, whose criminal actions made his daughter's life difficult.
Towards the climax of the first season, Cid kills Aurora, also known as the Witch of Calamity, although this may not be the last we've seen of her.
Finally, Cid kills Olivier, who wreaks havoc with his clones. Later, Delta kills Juggernaut, one of the Monarchs of the Lawless City.
Gettan, a Beastkin Wolf, is also killed by Cid who defends Yukime from his rage.
