Dragon Ball Super: Broly Advertisement Might Have Confirmed Bardock's Appearance

Dragon Ball Super: Broly has gained the attention of a lot of anime fans. This movie will bring Broly to the series canon and redo his origin, which will be fun to see. Another aspect that has gotten the attention of fans is the fact that the movie might also adapt Dragon Ball Minus, a short manga tale that shows how Bardock and his wife were able to get Goku aka Kakarot out of Planet Vegeta.

It looks like a recent Dragon Ball Super advertisement has accidentally revealed that Bardock will indeed be in the movie. Characters from Dragon Ball Super were used in a recent map that showed two major Tokyo subway routes and one of them was Bardock. While most of the characters had existing art to choose from, Bardock's image looked completely new and didn't look reused.

Bardock has always been one of the most popular Dragon Ball characters thanks to the TV special that detailed his final days. The problem with Dragon Ball Minus is that it robs the character of his complexity from the TV special and makes him a little too nice, which is why fans are a little worried about Broly adopting the manga.

Like Broly, Bardock has appeared in a number of video games and other forms of media due to his popularity. He was actually DLC with Broly in Dragon Ball FighterZ and is one of the best characters to use in that game. The character also got a sequel to his TV special, though it was despised by many for making Bardock more important than he should be, with many saying that it's worse than Dragon Ball Minus.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly comes to Japanese theaters this December and US cinemas in January.
