Masamune-kun’s Revenge explores a lot of complicated relationships between the characters. One of which is the master-servant relationship between Yoshino Koiwai and Masamune Makabe. Now that Masamune-kun’s Revenge Season 2 is here, does Yoshino Koiwai like Masamune?
Aside from Yoshino and Masamune’s affairs, Masamune-kun’s Revenge also digs into Masamune’s revenge plan against the cruel princess, Aki Adagaki.
There’s also Neko Fujinomiya, who has one-sided feelings for Makabe, not to mention a fake Masamune.

Yoshino Koiwai: The Master of Masamune Makabe
There’s more to Yoshino Koiwai than meets the eye. For a lot of people, Yoshino is just Aki Adagaki’s shy and naive servant, but for Masamune Makabe, Yoshino is his great master.
Unbeknownst to Aki and the majority of students at Yasaka High School, Yoshino is a very forceful and strong girl.
She does what she thinks is right and would go above and beyond for her relationship with Aki.
But there are moments when Yoshino also feels overwhelmed because of the myriad emotions she feels whenever she’s with Aki and/or Masamune.
She’s great at masking her genuine sentiments, but deep inside, they consume her.
Clearly, Yoshino despises Aki for not treating her well, even though she spent practically every ounce of vigor she had on her body to serve her through the years they had been together.
Her family has always served the Adagaki household throughout the years, and she was merely doing her part.
But this doesn’t mean that Yoshino hates Aki to the bone. She only wants Aki to treat her better, respect her, and appreciate all the things she has done for her.
Unfortunately, things have become so sour for Yoshino, and there’s only one thing she needs to do to teach Aki a lesson.
At some point, Yoshino pretended to be Aki Adagaki, and she rejected Masamune Makabe’s love confession.
As it turns out, Yoshino is the root of Masamune’s revenge against Aki. She was the reason why Masamune changed for the better. Not only did she break Masamune’s heart, but she also hurt Aki.
Because of this, Yoshino felt so much grief, witnessing how she impaired Aki and Masamune’s good relationship.
She tried incredibly hard to seek Masamune again, but she only discovered him now that they were in high school. She came up with a scheme to reconcile Aki and Masamune again.
Yoshino became Masamune’s master, supporting him throughout the series in the hopes that Aki will also change and treat her better if Masamune is able to break Aki’s heart.

Does Yoshino Koiwai Like Masamune Makabe?
Yes, Yoshino Koiwai has feelings for Masamune Makabe, even though she rejects them at first.
But Aki, on the other hand, noticed how hard it was for Yoshino to hide her actual feelings for Makabe, so she decided to push Yoshino to be honest with herself and confess.
The relationship between Yoshino and Masamune has always been fascinating.
Perhaps their dynamic duo is much better than Aki and Masamune’s connection, or rather, the best in the rest of Masamune-kun’s Revenge.
They are extreme opposites, but Yoshino and Masamune have one thing in common: their bond with Aki.
Little do they realize that Aki is also the glue that binds them together. She was the reason they got closer in the first place and why they understood each other better than everyone else.
As the plot unfolds, Yoshino and Masamune’s relationship or partnership becomes fruitful.
They relied on each other when things didn’t go their way, and they had each other’s backs even if it didn’t seem like it.

Do Yoshino Koiwai and Masamune Makabe End Up Together?
No, Yoshino Koiwai and Masamune Makabe did not end up together. But still, Yoshino mustered all the courage in the world simply to confess to Makabe towards the end of Masamune-kun’s Revenge.
Though it took a little push from Aki for Yoshino to be able to confess to Masamune.
After all, Yoshino still valued Aki’s feelings before her own, considering her position.
Unfortunately, Yoshino faced rejection like any other woman in the series who had gotten close to Masamune.
She understands that it's a hopeless situation as Masamune loves Aki the most, but it’s still a wonderful thing that she was able to confess her actual feelings for Masamune.
