Does Russo Die in Reacher Season 2?
Russo (played by Domenick Lombardozzi) is one of the few key characters that was newly added in Reacher Season 2. Despite being a newbie and not being the main star of the story, Lombardozzi knows how to stand out on his own.
It helps that Lombardozzi has previously played similar roles, with Reacher's Russo character digging a little deeper this Season 2. A much-complicated law enforcer, he is admittedly not a perfectly moral cop.
Unfortunately, Russo won't be living to see Season 3 come in the light of day.
The sixth episode, titled New York's Finest, pays tribute to his passing when Russo was shot trying to act as a decoy to save the little girl he was bringing home to her mother.
As much as Russo could have been saved by the Special Investigators team he called, he didn't make it in the end. Instead, he spent his last breath lying on his colleague's lap.
Reacher Season 2 still has two episodes left, but fans of Lee Child's adapted novel would be glad to hear that the series is getting a third season.

Will There Be a Reacher Season 3?
Although Reacher Season 3 has been confirmed ahead of its Season 2 release, the story has been kept under wraps for now.
The main Reacher star Alan Ritchson recently told in a Comicbook.com interview that while he seemingly has an idea about the plot details for Season 3, he doesn't plan on revealing it anytime soon:
"I can't say too much about Season 3, but I will say there's a lot of classic Reacher stories which are just adventures that he gets sucked into in a big way. And we get to enjoy Reacher in a new world. It may not have anything to do with family, with his past, he's just living that adventure out."
Meanwhile, the official synopsis for Reacher Season 2 reads:
Reacher is pulled from his vagabond life by a coded message informing him that a member of the 110th — his elite group of Army Special Investigators — has been murdered. He and some of his former military cohorts reunite to investigate and soon realize the case is bigger than they ever could have imagined.
