Gabe Ugliano (played by Timm Sharp) first showed up in Episode 1, where he was introduced as the stepfather of Percy Jackson.

Gabe was close to his book counterpart, minus physically harming Percy or his mother, Sally Jackson. He was lazy and fat and usually had his wife running errands for him.

As Percy stated in the premiere episode, Sally is the only employed parent he has, while Gabe relies on his income on his "imaginary poker game" online.

While Gabe doesn't appear much in the series, he does end up using Percy and Sally's "gone missing" incident to his advantage.

He went on TV for the fame, under the guise that he was worried sick that they weren't home yet.

However, he did appear in the post-credit scene of Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Here's what happened to him.

In the post-credit scene, Gabe is seen talking to his lawyer over the phone, in complete disbelief that Sally decided to end things with him.

Sally filed for a divorce. Though without "concrete reason", book fans would understand just how gravely abusive Gabe was to her and her son. If anything, filing a divorce was not enough of a punishment for the freeloader.

However, as seen in the series, Gabe suffered the consequences on his own.

See, in the book, Sally decided to use the severed head of Medusa to turn him into stone. In Episode 8, Gabe did it to himself by accident.

He was curious about the seemingly "fake" package the Gods left on Percy's doorstep. Despite being marked as Percy's property, Gabe thought there would be no harm in opening it. And well, you get the gist of what happened next.
