What Happens to Falin in Delicious in Dungeon?
Falin is the driving force in the first half of the Delicious Dungeon anime. She cast a teleportation spell for her friends to resurface from the dungeon, but she was eaten by the Red Dragon in the process.
This unfortunate situation motivated Laios, Chilchuck, and Marcille to return to the dungeon and rescue her at any cost, even though they lacked the food and money to continue their mission.
When Laios and his party finally defeated the Red Dragon, they found out that what remained of Falin were her bones.
She was unrecognizable, but she still had a chance to come back to life thanks to Marcille, who revealed that her specialization is the forbidden ancient arts.
True enough, Marcille successfully brought Falin back to life, but she was unaware that it came at a cost.
Sure, Falin had been revived, and she was feeling better than ever, as shown in episode 12 when she put a protective spell on Laios and the others without properly casting it, but something remained amiss.
While Marcille and the rest were sleeping, the Lunatic Magician summoned Falin after seeing what happened to the Red Dragon.
As it turned out, the Red Dragon was one of the Lunatic Magician's hired monsters entrusted with locating King Delgal.
Now that the Red Dragon has died and its soul has been linked with Falin as a result of Marcille's spell, the Lunatic Magician has decided to transform Laios' sister into a chimera.
Does Falin Become Evil in Delicious in Dungeon?
Falin is not evil at all, but with the Lunatic Magician's intervention, everything changes when she becomes a chimera in the dungeon.
She not only attacked and killed some of Kabru and Shuro's group members, but she also used her newfound strength on Laios, blowing him away.
As much as Laios and the others, particularly Shuro, didn't want to harm Falin, they had no choice but to fight her.
Even Kabru had to hurt Falin to stop her rampage and leave them alone. It was a sad and tragic development, but Laios and the others are hopeful that they can return Falin to normal.
From this point forward, Laios and his comrades resolve to conquer the dungeon by defeating the Lunatic Magician. After all, this is the only way they know of to return Falin to her normal self.
